 Hi Folks! Mike Miller MM3 (SS) Here! I was stationed aboard the USS Sunfish SSN-649 from 1971-1975. I was in A Gang. For those former "Sally" shipmates I just want you to know that our next reunion is set for Charleston, SC June 23-27, 2004. Wed.... June 23....... Early check in late afternoon.... Dinner at the Majestic Grill in downtown Historic Charleston. Thurs.....June 24 l afternoon tour of Charleston by bus and carriage during the afternoon Welcome reception... 5 until 8 dinner on your own... at the hotel buffet.... if you want. Fri.... June 25 BEACH DAY... a bus will carry us to Folly Beach for the day.... with a BBQ for lunch.... we will have the place from 10 till 4.... but will shuttle one group at 9 and one at 10:30 or so.....first group coming back at 2:00 and the second at 3:30 or so.... (Pork, Chicken, Slaw... Hot Dogs) Dinner on your own... at hotel buffet if want.... Movies, popcorn...skits, karaoke.. in the hospitality room... 7:00? till ? Sat... June 26 Memorial Service at the Cold 'War Submarine Monument at 9:00 am... http://www.cwsmf.org/ where you can see the education station number 5, A tribute to our Attack Submarines and the dedicated and daring men who served in them during the Cold War. this is where the Sunfish bench is. two optional tours afterwards.... One of Patriots Point and the USS Hunley.... Another of the Hunley and Historic Charleston.... Pictures at 6:00pm till 7:00 Banquet at 7:00 with DJ and Dancing afterwards..... (Flounder and Prime Rib for choices.) Once again the Sunfish Singers! Sun.... June 27 Going away breakfast...8:30 am Business meeting afterward....Time??
